Antrim’s boxers defeated a strong Scottish select in an
entertaining clash in Perth at the weekend.
An initial setback loss in the opening bout was quickly
pegged back by young Sean Higginson of the St Agnes’s ABC in
west Belfast.
Hard-hitting Nathan Kane (Gleann) took the decision out of
the hands of the judges with a second round stoppage win to
put the Antrim squad on the road to a 6-1 victory at the
Angus Hotel in Blairgowrie.
